University of Phoenix Stadium Where the Arizona Cardinals play inside the Diamond of the Desert

The University of Phoenix Stadium. The shining gem of the desert, the Arizona Cardinals play in one of the most modern facilities ever built in the world. The technology and engineering for the University of Phoenix (UofP) Stadium is second to none, receiving Business Week "10 most impressive" sports facilities in the world. The domed stadium has the ability to move a grass football field inside and out on tracks so that the field can receive the needed sunlight and nourishment that typical outdoor stadiums give their grass fields.
The roof is retracts completely open within 12 minutes. It is the first retractible roof to be built on an incline. The fabric of roofing material is called "bird-air" and is the
type of material found on many other domes and tractable rooftops throughout the world.
Besides being the home of the Arizona Cardinals, there are many other events that are hosted at this facility. The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl of the Division I Bowl Championship Series, numerous concerts, US National Soccer competitions, and national marching band competitions are all held at University of Phoenix Stadium.
