Lambeau Field Home of the Green Bay Packers and the Cheese Heads
Green Bay Packers, Lambeau Field, the Frozen Tundra, Brett Favre, Bart Starr, Vince Lombardi, Reggie White. All are familiar names from one of the storied teams in the NFL, owned by the city of Green Bay.
Where else do you have a city that has sold out of the games since 1960, over 260 games and has a season ticket waiting list of over 74,000 patrons? An incredible feat, no matter what day and age your sports team has been through.
Lambeau Field has been the host of some of the coldest NFL playoff games in history. The famed "Ice Bowl" featured the Pack hosting the Dallas Cowboys in temperatures of -13oF with a wind chill of -46oF. Single digit games are the norm for playoff games held at Lambeau.
Renovated in 2003, the Lambeau Field received an atrium and additional suites to increase the seating capacity to over 72,000. The Packers have the longest stadium attendance in one location throughout the NFL.
Cheeseheads and the Packers go well together, and the city of Green Bay continues to uphold their historical place among the NFL.
