Reliant Stadium Home of the Houston Texans and Big Enough for the State of Texas
Reliant Stadium. Home of the Houston Texans as well as many other multi-purpose events used in this facility. Since everything is larger in Texas, well, Reliant Stadium doesn't disappoint.
Opened in 2002, this multi-purpose facility is the pride and joy of Houston. Reliant Stadium has many opportunities for fans to see the game in style. The stadium is capable of holding over 71,000 cheering fans for the Texans.
Reliant Stadium is also home to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo which occurs for three weeks during the months of February and March. If rodeo is your thing, this location is one of the finest locations to perform and watch the best rodeo around.
The Houston Texans are not the only game in town. College football has had numerous games played at Reliant Stadium, although it is not the home field to any particular team. The stadium has been host to the Big 12 Championship, several Division I college schools in the Houston area for large attendance games, Wrestlemania, host to the US National Soccer Team, and the Texas Bowl, part of the bowl game series for Division I schools for either the Big 12, Big East, C-USA or the Mountain West athletic conferences.
