Pro Player Stadium Where the Miami Dolphins play near the Sun and Surf
Pro Player Stadium. The Miami Dolphins playing at home on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. With the sea breeze blowing, Pro Player Stadium becomes one of the most beautiful locations to watch a football game.
The multi-use outdoor stadium is home to the Miami-based NFL and the Major League Baseball (MLB) professional franchises. The stadium design was the brain storm and foresight of Dolphin owner Joe Robbie to be able to accomodate both professional soccer matches and to be used as a baseball stadium for a potential future MLB franchise. Joe Robbie's vision came true when in 1991, the Florida Marlins became an expansion team to Baseball.
The University of Miami Hurricanes also call Pro Player Stadium home for all of their collegiate home games. The Division I powerhouse routinely delivers punishing games to their opponents on Miami's home field. Pro Player Stadium has been used for numerous musical concerts, monster truck shows, boat and RV shows, and the Florida High School Athletic championship football games.
