McAfee Coliseum Where the Oakland Raiders, and the Silver and Black Gather
McAfee Coliseum. Home of the Oakland Raiders, their fans, the black and silver, and owner Al Davis. There is quite a bit of heritage and history at the Coliseum. The Silver and Black have been a dominate and interesting force within the NFL. Never dull or boring, Raider fans continue to show their team loyalty to their team and owner with creative fan costumes and decorative heads.
Playing in McAfee Coliseum, the multi-purpose facility in Oakland, the Raiders share the season with both the Oakland A's of the Major League Baseball franchise and the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer (MLS). The Raiders returned to Oakland from Los Angeles in 1995 with promises of upgrades to the Coliseum which have include the infamous "Mount Davis" for the additional seating for the Raider fans.
The Coliseum has been used for big name musical concerts and remains an Oakland fixture for the city.
