Raymond James Stadium. Where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rock the Ship For Their Team
Raymond James Stadium. Where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rock the ship and cheer their team on to victory. No other place can you sit near the stern of a Pirate Ship and watch your Bucs battle on the field.
The unique stadium with a pirate's ship in the end zone makes for some very vocal fans and a true home field advantage. Upon completion of the stadium, it was deemed the crowned jewel of NFL Stadiums, including some of the largest screens for viewing for fans.
Along with being the home field for the Bucs, it is also the home field for the University of South Florida (USF) Bulls. USF was rated as high as number #2 in the nation in college football rankings before falling down after a loss.
Raymond James Stadium is also the host of the Outback Bowl which is played on New Years Day and is one of the highest paying Bowl games that isn't included in BCS series. The ACC Championship game will also be played at Raymond James for both 2008 and 2009.
