NFL Week 12
Predictions, Upsets, and Scores

Week 12 is here as the cold winds bring about some interesting football games this week. Week 11 had some wierd games: Philly ties Cincy, and then QB admits that he didn't know that a tie was possible. McNabb, your an idiot. It proves that you do not read the rulebook, and I doubt you spend much time in the playbook too. And Andy Reid is to blame on this too. How do you allow a team of your talent to play the way they did? You will be gone at the end of the year, and a new era will begin in Philly. Chicago? Hello???? Sunday is GameDay, not practice for the offense and defense. 3 points is the best that you can do? How pathetic. Pittsburgh did what it had to do to win, Indy is starting to look like the Colts of old, the Giants and Titans keep on rolling, and Atlanta loses at home?!!! Buffalo: wide right, again........

Week 11 was OK, as I went 10-6(as I include the tie as a loss for the predictions), but I really thought that Chicago would show up last Sunday and Atlanta would find some holes in Denvers' defense to win.

All eyes will be watching the NY Jets at Tennessee Titans game in week 12. Should be an excellent game if the Jets play 60 minutes of football. The other NY team, the Giants will be playing an interesting game out in Phoenix. Phoenix can win the division with a victory.

So let's get to the predictions for Week 12.

NFL Week 12 Thursday Night Football
Cincinnati Benglas at Pittsburgh Steelers
T.J, will be the man as Chad Johnson is deactivated for tonight's game. I won't matter though, as the Pitt D will over the Bengals O line, not allowing the QB to reach the receivers in stride. Long night for Ciny.
Steelers 27 Bengals 15

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans
This should be a great game. This will tell the Jets if they are ready and worthy of the playoffs or not. The Jets won at New England last week, a huge feat for them. But the Jets were dominating and then let up. If the Jets didn't get the ball first in OT, I think that the Pats would have marched down the field and would have won. The Titans are much more poised and well-rounded than the Pats. The defensive line will give Brett fits keeping him under pressure or sacking him, and that will throw off their rhythm. Kerry Collins won't be flashy, but he will be consistant and win this game, with the Titan defense being the unsung heroes of the game.Week 12 Game of the Week #1
Titans 20 Jets17

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions
Detroit cannot play 4 quarters of football. Period. They will get the lead, and then watch it slip away. I am starting to wonder if there is a conspiracy to intentionally lose these games. If you can't be part of a 16-0 team, why not be 0-16?
Bucs 24 Lions 14

Chicago Bears at St. Louis Rams
If I pick the Bears to lose here, is that really considered to be an upset? Two years ago, Chicago was in the Super Bowl, this year they are 5-5 and tied for first in the pathetic NFC North division. The Rams lost a tough game against the Saints. Without Stephen Jackson in the lineup due to injuires, they just will not have enough weapons to pull this one out.
Bears 19 Rams 10

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins
Joey Porter was saying something..... sounded like blah blah blah..... Put your shirt back on because the Pats are going to take your shirt on your home field if you don't watch out. Yeah, you and the Pats have the same record at 6-4, but the Pats have more experience and a calm that the game isn't over until the final second, literally. A win on the road for the Pats, and the division will get very interesting when the Jets lose at Tennessee.....
Pats 27 Dolphins 21

San Francisco 49ers at Dallas Cowboys
The 49ers got a victory for their interim head coach over the Rams last week. Dallas won a tough game at Washington, a must win game for Dallas to rebound for the final six weeks of the regular season. Dallas will overlook the 49ers to a degree, but the crowd will demand a win, and their talent will come through in the end and win it. 49ers just are not there yet.
Cowboys 28 49ers 17

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs
Buffalo, your season went wide right last week. HUGE loss. KC is losing too, but they are playing tough, and with the home crowd and the toughness that they have shown the last two weeks will pay off for them with a rare home victory. Week 12 Upset of the Week
Chiefs 24 Bills 20

Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns
Cleveland found a way to catch the ball Monday Night Football. Wow..... and the defense played pretty good too. The Texans are not playing well with Matt Schaub out for a while. Other factors need to be included, including a home game for the Browns and the weather will be cold. Cleveland should win this one... unless Braylon Edwards forgets how to catch the ball.
Browns 27 Texans 13

Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens
Hey McNabb!! No overtime will be needed for this game, and it surely won't end in a tie!! WooHoo!! You won't have to worry, because you are going to lose so bad that Andy Reid won't have a word to say at the end of the season other than he has enjoyed his time in Philadelphia, how he almost won a Super Bowl, and he cannot explain what happened the past two years, how it went all wrong......
Ravens 24 Eagles 16

Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Vikings cannot find an consistancy with their offense. They remind me of the Detroit Lions when they had Barry Sanders. Adrian Peterson is the only thing they have going for them, and if he can't carry the team, then they are in trouble. Jacksonville has a couple of decent running backs, and their defense can be decent if they want to be. This is a weird game, as both teams do not have a winning record, but so much is needed for the Vikings to get a victory, that I think they will pull off a surprise victory here. Can't really call it an upset though.....
Vikings 17 Jaguars 14

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos
Oakland couldn't beat the Broncos at home, and you expect them to win on the road at Denver? It won't be the blowout like the first meeting, but it won't be close either.
Broncos 31 Raiders 16

Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta's future hinges on this game. They lost a game they should have won at home last week, and this conference game is extremely crucial to their playoff hopes. Carolina is in the drivers seat and it is their conference to lose. A Carolina loss will make the conference very interesting, and I think the fun is just beginning. Atlanta pulls of the win here and keeps their playoff hopes alive.
Falcons 24 Panthers 21

Washington Redskins at Seattle Seahawks
The Rekskins can't make up their mind if they want to win or not. Their playoff destiny was in their hands for a wild card opportunity and they keep finding a way to lose, and they lose at home. What is up with that? Seattle doesn't have a destiny, other than watching the playoffs from the comfort of their living room. This isn't their year, and week 12 is the death of the old Seahawks and a new chapter in the Seahawk franchise will begin shortly.
Redskins 21 Seahawks 10

New York Giants at Arizona Cardinals
Another great game here. While the crowd wants a victory to wrap up the conference for their Cardinals, this isn't the week. The Giants are the big boys, while the Cards are still climbing up to get to the "big boy plateau". The Cards are close, but this game will give them an understanding of how far they have to raise their game to get beyond a first round loss in the playoffs. The Giants are too well rounded to have a hic-up in their gameplan. Week 12 NFL Game of the Week #2
Giants 29 Cardinals 20

Week 12 Sunday Night Football
Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers
This is the last breathe for the Chargers here. A loss to the Colts combined with a Denver win, the Chargers can kiss the wild card playoff spot goodbye. It would take a miracle for the Chargers to turn it around. So will the Chargers win here and make the uncertain future even more cloudy? Yup. the Colts will stumble here on the road, as they have so many times this year. It is about to get real interesting here......
Chargers 24 Colts 17

Week 12 Monday Night Football
Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints
So who is going to place the voodoo curse on Aaron Rodgers and have the Pack lose this interesting game? It will be an offensive shootout, with Rodgers and Drew Brees tossing the ball around like it is Mardi Gras beads. New Orleans needs this game so much more than the Pack do. The Saints are three games behind Carolina and 2 games behind the Bucs. But the Saints have not played well consistantly. Now the Saints are distracted by the scandal accusing some players of using illegal substances, causing another team distraction. Not good, and neither will be the final result of the game at the Superdome.
Packers 27 Saints 23
